I have been on a buying spree lately. On the one hand, I tell myself if I can afford it and it makes me happy, what's the harm? Lots of people collect things and spend money on other hobbies or interests -- what makes this any different? On the other hand, the consumerism aspect and constant “need” for acquisition makes me feel icky and guilty at times.
