# From familiar mist to considered EDP

## Finding

Existing fans are asking for the scents they love with better staying power. The new EDPs need a clear explanation of what is different from an SDJ mist, not an assumption that everyone already understands.

## Conversations

Mist, Intense mist and eau de parfum can blur together for shoppers. Some requests name familiar Cheirosa scents, which does not mean the new EDP collection is the product they have in mind.

Counterpoint: These requests may be for a familiar scent in another format, not a new fragrance proposition. Existing 62 EDP receives an explicit disappointment comment, so format alone is not persuasive performance proof.

## Recommendation for the Sol de Janeiro launch

Give creators a simple side-by-side guide to the formats, using confirmed product details. Show what each new EDP smells like and how it wears, and be explicit about whether it is a new scent or a version of a familiar one.

I know that they have body butters which is great. But I’m extra lol and would love if they came out with body lotions/creams. I know they have an edp for 62 but if they came out with edps for ALL their scents they’d make more money. Hi. I absolutely LOVE SDJ 62 mist and want a PERFUME that smells very similar to it. Given that SDJ is a mist, it has low performance hence looking for a perfume version of it. I have a body/shower gel that smells like it and want a perfume to layer it with. Budget - around 4-5k.
